Hampton Disturbed By Doctor Shortage

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton says the provincial government has to act fast before the shortage of physicians worsens.
Hampton is responding to the recent announcement that two doctors in Dryden are leaving their practices in the near future.
The NDP Leader says the numbers of underserviced areas for doctors is disturbing.
He adds the province continues to say it will allow more foreign-trained doctors to practice in Ontario but has yet to act on that promise.
Hampton has sent a letter to the Minister of Health outlining his concerns.
