Hampton on Kenora Policing #2

NDP leader Howard Hampton is weighing in on the

controversial decision to disband the Kenora Police

Service in favour of the provincial force.

The Kenora Rainy River MPP has met with concerned

residents who feel the police costing process was flawed

and lacked public consultation.

Hampton says he plans to speak with Minister of

Community Safety and Correctional Services Rick Bartolucci.

More than 3-thousand people in Kenora has signed a

petition urging council to keep the KPS.
