Northwestern Ontario post secondary students will see
some tuition relief from a newly announced travel grant.
Those who move away to attend school and travel 80kms or
more are eligible for $300 per semester to travel home.
Kenora Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton says it’s a start,
but the money won’t make a huge impact in the lives of
Northern students.

and the program begins in September.
