Another Northern Ontario group is pressuring the Federal
and Provincial Governments to upgrade highway 17.
The political action committee of the retired teachers
of Ontario wants the highway between Kenora and Manitoba
divided.
Spokesperson Cliff Hueber says both levels of government
need to enhance the underdeveloped sections of the Trans
Canada Highway.
