The Retired Teachers of Ontario are lobbying both levels
of government for greatly needed upgrades to Highway 17.
Spokesperson Cliff Hueber says the TransCanada highway
needs to be divided into 4 lanes between Kenora and
Winnipeg.
Hueber adds a twinned highway is also needed from
Nippigon to Thunder Bay.

Gravelle and MP Joe Comuzzi are in favour of the upgrades
to Highway 17.
The Retired Teachers of Ontario are optimistic the
Federal and Provincial levels of government will take
their highway plan seriously.
