OPP have reopened Highway 599 to Pickle Lake.
Police closed the highway heading north overnight from the Junction of Highway 516 near Savant Lake, because of a forest fire threatening the Pickle Lake area.
However, police say fire crews are making progress and it is now safe for motorists to travel northbound on that stretch of road.
