Record Breaking Heat

The long holiday weekend could turn out to be one of the warmest of the summer in Northwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the Dryden Airport set a new record high of 32 degrees on Friday.
Most other communities in Sunset Country came close to setting new marks with temperatures climbing into the low 30s.
Some records may fall today with highs in the mid 30s.
Meantime, new record highs continue to be set on the Prairies where some communities have climbed to almost 40 degrees.
