It’s not what Balmertown’s Eric Radford had in mind for the World Figure Skating Championship.
Plagued by a painful and nagging hip injury, Radford and partner Meagan Duhamel struggled through their short program Wednesday and finished 7th.
The two were vying for their third consecutive world pairs title.
Radford says he still plans to complete the long program Thursday and he is proud that they are managing to persevere.

Honestly, the last 24 hrs were some of the hardest of my life. Thank you for all of your support. Especially @mhjd_85. #helsinki2017 #kitos
