Dryden Police say the passenger of a snowmachine was injured early this morning in a hit and run accident.
Witnesses say a snowmachine travelling at high speed rear-ended a stopped vehicle at the Government Dock on Van Horne Avenue around 12:30 AM.
Police say the passenger of the snowmachine was taken to hospital with a number of injuries and later released.
According to police, the driver fled the scene with another person on a second snowmachine.
Police say the injured passenger insists he did not know the driver.
Police are asking anyone with further information about the accident to contact them or Crimestoppers.
