Homeless Funding

Kenora-Rainy River MP Bob Nault has announced funding to benefit the homeless in the Red Lake area.
Nault says 145-thousand dollars will support local efforts to combat aboriginal homelessness in the community.
Nault says eventually the Federal Government will look specifically at shelters and finding long term soltutions to the homeless problem in the region.
Kenora and Sioux Lookout also received funding after the Federal Government signed a partnership agreement with the Ontario Indian Friendship Centres back in April.
