Keeping the Emergency Room open 24-7 is one of the main goals for the Dryden Regional Health Centre this year.
That is the highlight of a new Business Plan approved by the Board of Directors.
Other stats included in the brief state that the facility will be faced with expenses going up 4% and salaries another 8%.
However, 10 new positions are expected to be created with the implication of new programs such as the sexual assault-domestic violence initiative.
Officials are also projecting a surplus of about $185,000 this fiscal period.
