Hospital Staff Get Set for Accreditation

The Dryden Hospital is in the midst of the accreditation process and hospital staff are optimistic that they will receive a three year extension.
Self-evaluation surveys have been completed by hospital staff, and they now await the evaluation from the province.
Darlene Furlong, Hospital Board member says they are confident the facility will receive accreditation.
Furlong says one area they have emphasized for further development is its healthy workplace initiative.
The province will conduct their evaluation in early May.
They look at all areas within the hospital including staff, services, programs and resources.
