Sioux Lookout Assault

Yet another case of a police officer being assaulted in Sioux Lookout.
OPP say they arrested a 17-year-old after a quantity of beer was stolen from behind the bar of a Front Street restaurant.
During the arrest, police say the youth kicked an officer in the groin area and spit on him.
The youth also attempted to kick the rear windows of a police cruiser.
Police say the youth is facing charges of theft, resisting arrest and assaulting police and will make his first court appearance next week.
