The incredible act of the community coming together.
That’s the reaction from volunteers from the Christmas Cheer Campaign after a $15,000 donation from local residents and Dryden GM.
Some $7,500 was raised during the short fundraising campaign, and GM Owner Nick Beyak came forward to match all donations.
Spokesperson Peggy Howard says support from the community has been overwhelming.
Howard says hamper pickup will be held Wednesday, while the Adopt-a-Family hampers will go out Thursday.
She notes they are sitting in good shape in terms of donations.
