There are only three northwestern Ontario grocery stores approved to sell beer under the first phase of the Liberal plan.
All three are in Thunder Bay at the Real Canadian Superstore and two Safeway stores.
The government has approved 58-locations across the province.
Ultimately beer will be available at 450 grocery stores.
