Human Tissue Report

A new report calls on Ontario Hospitals to be more sensitive to different cultural needs and beliefs about the handling of human tissue.
The study looks into complaints that a Thunder Bay Hospital sent bloody tissue samples to 3 First Nation Communities in the Far North.
Health Minister George Smitherman says he agrees with the report’s recommendations.
