Ice Dogs Drop Game 2

The SIJHL Finals is tied at a game apeice after the Fort William North Stars beat the Dryden Ice Dogs 4-3 at the Dryden Memorial Arena. It was once again a tight affair as the Ice Dogs Opened the scoring in the first but saw the Stars score twice to lead 2-1. The North Stars edged up 3-1 before Dyrden pulled to within one by the end of the middle frame. Fort William would score the eventual winner early in the Third with Dryden finding themselves down by one with less than 5 minutes reamaining in the game. Kevin Burton, Nicolas Doiron and Drew Heinen each scored for Dryden. Graeme Harrington suffered the loss between the pipes. THe series now shift to Thunder Bay for games 3 and 4 at the Fort William Gardens Tuesday and Wednesday.
