With Dryden GM struggling to win faceoffs in extra time, Blake Berg changed that with only one draw as the Ice Dogs beat the Fort Frances Lakers 3-2 in overtime Tuesday evening.
Berg won it right off to the side for Derek McPhail and the veteran forward capitalized blasting it home at the 11:21 mark for the victory.
Drew Walske sent the game into overtime picking up a beautiful Kyle Pouncy pass and scoring on the breakaway midway through the third.
Troy Williams also scored for the Ice Dogs who out shot Fort Frances 41-30.
Dryden GM can take a 3-1 sereis lead in the SIJHL FInal with a win on Wednesday evening.
