Ice Dogs Win First Of Three

The Dryden Ice Dogs took advantage of a short-handed Sioux Lookout Flyers team with an 8-0 win at home Wednesday night. The Flyers had just 14 players total for the game as the team picked up the pieces after nearly folding a week ago. Kevin Tomalty scored twice to lead the Dryden while Kevin Burton, Brendan Church, Tanner Harms, Garrett Nystedt, Tristan Allain and newcomer Mitch Chagnon all added singles. Thomas Black earned the shut out between the pipes. Dryden won’t have long to enjoy the win as they get set to host the Thunder Bay Bearcats Friday and Saturday night.
