For the second straight game at home Devin Tappenden gave his team a shot to win and his teammates delivered.
Tappenden made 38-saves as the Minnesota Iron Rangers knocked off the Dryden GM Ice Dogs 3-1 Thursday night in Hoyt Lakes.
Cole Golka opened the scoring in the second period, but the Iron Rangers responded with three straight including a penalty shot goal.
The win forces a Game 6 Saturday night In Dryden.
