English River Miners forward Jared Janke has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
Janke has been red hot, recording six goals and an assist in three games last week.
One of his goals was a game winner in overtime.
The 19-year-old has scored in four consecutive games and leads the Miners in points-per-game.
Janke is tied for fourth in the league with 8-goals.
Luke Bellerose of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs also received consideration as did Hunter Buzzi of Ignace for the Fort Frances Lakers.
