Former Fort Frances town councilor John Albanese will be sitting in the council chamber once again.
After voting during a special meeting today, Town Council chose Albanese to fill a seat left vacant by the recent untimely death of Councilor Struchan Gilson.
Besides Albanese, three other candidates unsuccessful in the last municipal election allowed their names to stand – Sharon Tibbs,
Gus Lindberg and Misty Christian.
But given the weighted voting system chosen by majority of council, Albanese finished first, Tibbs was a close second followed by Lindberg and Christian.
