A jury is in place at the criminal trial of former Dryden-area
gunsmith Bruce Montague.
The jury is made up of 10-men and 2-women hailing largely from Dryden
and Kenora.
Several possible jurors were excused because of their strong feelings
for or against the Firearms Legislation, or because they know the
defendants, witnesses or police officers involved in the case.
The jury does include an avid hunter who says he can be impartial.
Bruce Montague has plead not guilty to 53-charges under the Federal
Firearms Act and his wife Donna has plead not guilty to 3-charges.
The trial resumes Tuesday in Kenora Court.
