A call to arms by the President of NOMA today at the Kenora District Municipal Association meetings.
Randy Pike reports from Ignace…
Michael Power, the President of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association says the time for polite talk is over!
He urged delegates at the KDMA meetings to start making a lot more noise & step up efforts to get problems across the northwest noticed by southern Ontario politicians.
Power also hinted that NOMA has some sort of plan that will be put into effect at the Good Roads meetings later this month in Toronto.
He wouldn’t tell me anything more other than to say that when Premier McGuinty shows up, he is going to KNOW the Northwest is there.
Covering the Kenora District Municipal Association meetings, I’m Randy Pike in Ignace.
