The Kenora District Services Board says no personal information was stolen following a break and enter at its Dryden office.
City Police say the incident was reported just before 8 o’clock Monday morning.
Someone entered the building through a window, and several offices were forcibly opened and ransacked.
Police say a safe was opened and money was stolen from it.
Damage to the building and furnishings was extensive and KDSB staff is working to compile a list of other items that were taken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dryden Police or Crime Stoppers.
