It will likely be August before the Kenora District Services Board awards a contract for Ontario Works services.
A request for proposals to deliver welfare and social services went out this past spring.
The Services Board has received 8 different proposals, including 3 from the City of Dryden.
The Board has also submitted its own bid.
CAO Sten Lif says they will be looking at cost and efficiency when a final decision is made.
This is the second time a proposal has been submitted by Dryden.
A joint bid with Kenora was rejected earlier this year.
