Kenora Junior Hockey Ownership Group Waiting For Green Light

The ownership group planning to bring a junior hockey team to Kenora is cautiously optimistic they’ll get the deal done.
Kevin McCallum has been spearheading the effort for several months and says it looks like they are getting close.
He notes the main thing is finding a home at the Kenora Rec. Centre and he plans an open meeting for anyone interested in becoming part of the ownership group.
McCallum says there has been a lot of interest from prospective players.
He’s hoping to get the green light for a team as early as next week.
