Provincial Police have upgraded charges in a fatality that took place back in February in Kenora. At the time, 26-year-old Trenton Richardson was charged with assault causing bodily harm in connection to the death of 77-year-old Brenda Richardson of Fort Frances. After a four month long investigation, officers have charged the Kenora man with second degree murder. He’s currently being held in custody. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
