All that glitter is not gold.
That’s the warning from Provincial Police, warning residents across the region that some fake jewelry is being offered for sale.
The first warning comes from Kenora with reports of individuals driving around in a small grey hatchback and approaching people saying they are selling the jewelry so they can get back to Montreal.
The gold is stamped with an “18K” mark , but the OPP confirm the jewelry is fake.
