Kenora MP Bob Nault believes talks on a new trade deal with the U.S. and Mexico will carry over into the new year.
Nault anticipates a major push from both countries on a concrete deadline.
However, the Liberal member says they won’t be accepting any deadline seeing how many deadlines have been missed due to hard negotiations.
Nault also says having the President interfere, intervene and making comments, that he thinks is somehow changing the dynamics at the table, isn’t helping.
He expects the biggest push coming from America given mid-term elections are looming and polls show Donald Trump in trouble to maintain their hold on Congress.
