The MP for Kenora says the Federal and Provincial governments need to get on the same page on priority infrastructure projects in northwestern Ontario.
Bob Nault says overall they have a solid working relationship, but admits that sometimes they disagree on what our true needs are.
Nault points to the lack of movement on twinning Highway 17 and the creation of all-weather roads in the Far North.
He says he will continue to push extremely hard on a joint-list of priority work needed for this region.
The current formula has the Feds contributing 50%, the Province 25% and the Municipality 25%.
You can hear more from Bob Nault Sunday morning on Northwest Monitor, immediately after the 9:00am News on CKDR.
