No change to the cost of electricity in Ontario next month.
The Ontario Energy Board says time-of-use prices that came into effect in July will remain until the end of next April.
That includes 6.5 cents per kilowatt hours for electricity used during low demand times and 13.2 cents during high peak times.
Those on tiered rates will also pay the same rates as in July.
However, the higher rate won’t kick-in for residential customers until they’ve reached 1,000 kilowatt hours in a month.
