No change to the cost of electricity in Ontario next month.
The Ontario Energy Board says time-of-Use prices that came into effect in July will stay throughout the winter months.
That includes 6.5 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity used during low demand times, and 13.2 cents during high peak times.
Those on tiered rates will also pay the same rates as in July.
However, the higher rate won’t kick in for residential customers until they’ve reached 1,000 kilowatt hours in a month. (File Photo)
