A solid third quarter for Domtar led by a strong performance in Pulp and Paper.
The company is reporting net earnings of $70-million compared to $38-million in the second quarter.
In comparison, Domtar recorded net earnings of $59-million in the same period last year.
Sales for the third quarter of 2017 were $1.3-billion.
President and Chief Executive Officer John Williams says their mills ran well and productivity was strong, resulting in good cost performance across their network.
