Positive discussions following a meeting between Minister of State Greg Rickford and Pickle Lake Mayor Roy Hoffman and Council.
Both sides sat down Tuesday to discuss issues of importance.
Rickford says the major concern is water and wastewater treatment.
Rickford adds although it’s mainly a provincial issue, the state of area roads is another area the government is looking into.
He notes the government is also working with Pickle Lake to secure a new Municipal building.
Staff are currently operating out of an ATCO trailer.
