Kenora MP Not Concerned About Status Of NAFTA Talks

Canada isn’t about to throw in the towel on the North American Free Trade Agreement.

That’s the opinion of Kenora MP Bob Nault.

Nault, who chairs the Foreign Affairs Committee has just returned from trips to Mexico and the United States to get a read on NAFTA talks.

He says we should take our time and see how things play out.

Nault notes the current agreement is working well and we shouldn’t be pushy as far as fast-tracking things.

Nault admits NAFTA isn’t on the radar of most politicians in Washington these days, as they are more interested in the Tax Bill and the Russia investigation.
