Kenora MP Eric Melillo is back in Ottawa for a new week of debate in the House of Commons.
Members of Parliament are on a rotating schedule for in-person appearances.
Melillo says he’s anxious to press the government on a number of issues.
“I’m obviously going to bring a number of priorities from the north. Whether it’s FedNor funding, broadband internet of course. A number of concerns we’ve been talking about for quite some time.”
Melillo is hoping to get a federal commitment to expand high speed internet in northern and rural communities.
He stresses “I’m looking forward to raising those issues in the House of Commons and putting some pressure on the government to deliver.”
