Don’t expect to see the Under 18 Kenora Thistles on the ice any time soon.
According to the Manitoba ‘AAA’ Hockey League, the Thistles have not received the clearance needed at this time to start their season in Winnipeg.
The league says that means they won’t play any games until December at the earliest.
The season started for the rest of the league back on October 16.
UPDATE: The @Kenora_Thistles did not receive approval from Hockey Northwestern Ontario to travel to Winnipeg.
All games involving the Thistles are postponed up to December 1st.
We hope to see the Thistles resume play within the league this season.
