Kevin Kahoot is officially seeking a fourth term as Mayor of Ear Falls.
He’s become the first person to submit his nomination papers for the October municipal elections.
He says he has some unfinished business and projects that he wants to see completed. Kahoot stresses the focus must be on keeping people in town and ensuring they can afford their tax and water bills.
He says he also wants to continue down the path of community development as well as provide more social and recreational opportunities for residents. Kahoot says the community is making great strides and he wants to keep the momentum going to make Ear Falls a better and more affordable place to live.
Kahoot points to progress in their parks and street light programming, beautification efforts, construction of a new heli-pad as well as the planned construction of a new school.
Incumbent Dan Sutton is the only other person to enter the municipal race, taking another run at a Council seat.
