KPDSB Director Looking Ahead To 2019

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is starting to prepare for a busy 2019.

Director of Education Sean Monteith says he has a long list of priorities for the New Year.

Monteith says priorities for 2019 include improving children mental health initiatives and focusing on student achievement.

He notes they are doing really good work on achievement levels, but that good work needs to be sustained.

Monteith says the first task is working with new Trustees to help them get up to speed.

He is also predicting more changes amongst administration, noting change is constant and he anticipates a shuffling of staff.

Sean Monteith made the comments during a year end interview with CKDR News.
