All elementary schools within the Keewatin-Patricia District School board will hold a one day strike on December 11, which means all elementary schools, will be closed.
Secondary schools will remain open, and school bus transportation will be provided as usual for high school students.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario will hold a protest on Tuesday at the Government Building, located at 479 Government Road in Dryden.
All elementary schools will re-open on Wednesday.
All Secondary and French & English Catholic schools remain open and buses will be running for these students only. Please note that bus schedules/timing may fluctuate on Tuesday with the reduced numbers of riders, however drivers will do their best to maintain the regular schedule.
