Lake Levels On Lac Seul on the Way Up!

A month ago, the Lake of the Woods Control Board was concerned about low levels on Lac Seul.
However, Spokesperson Rick Walden says they are now closely monitoring the situation after this week’s storm.
Levels have risen 25cm in the past week and he is expecting a similar increase next week.
Walden says flooding is not an issue at this time, but the Spring rainfall season is fast approaching which could pose some problems.
Walden says they are also looking at increasing outflow on Lac Seul to keep things under control.
