It was everything a 1 versus 2 series could ask for Friday night in Fort Frances. The Fort Frances Lakers won 6-2 over the Wisconsin Wilderness to win the second leg of the total goals min-series and force a shootout. In the end the Wilderness won the shootout 2-1 and now have the right to choose their opponent in the second round of the SIJHL playoffs. Dryden has already moved on to the second round. Meanwhile the Sioux Lookout Flyers will look to climb back into their best of seven SIJHL series tonight in Thunder Bay. The Flyer stayed alive Thursday night with a win at home but trail the Thunder Bay North Stars 3 games to 1. Puck drop in 6:30 p.m. Central in Thunder Bay.
