Land Use Planning Public Consulation

Public consultation is now underway on the land use plan for Cat Lake and Slate Falls First Nations.
The planning process is part of the Province’s commitment to protect at least half of the Boreal Forest in the Far North.
The public is asked to voice their opinion on the 1.5-million hectare area, 150-kilometres north of Sioux Lookout.
Information meetings will be held next month in Cat Lake, Slate Falls and Sioux Lookout.
Public feedback can be submitted on-line at www.ontario.ca
