Lawsuit Will Mean Job Cuts And Loss of Revenue

Ontario tax payers will be on the hook following the latest lawsuit against the province.
NDP Northern Development and Mines Critic Michael Mantha is reacting to news that North Superior Resources out of Sudbury has filed a $110 million lawsuit.
He says as a result, there’s going to be a loss of revenue, jobs cuts and less opportunities for First Nations and non-First Nations people.
Mantha adds this sends a message that Ontario is not open for business until the government sits down and creates an appropriate framework.
When it comes to the government’s approach, Mantha says they need to take a proactive one, not a reactive one.
