Learn How To Handle Your Diabetes

November is Diabetes Month, and there are a number of activities happening in Dryden.
Suzanne Wice is an Educator with the Dryden Diabetes Centre, and there will be a Diabetes expo this Saturday at the Centre, and Sue Schaffer aka, Mrs. Pudding, will be the guest speaker.
She has lived with type 1 diabetes for 25-years, and will give a presentation on how to handle the disease.
The expo runs from 1 until 4, but the speech will be at 2pm.
There will also be a number of information booths and information available.
The Dryden Diabetes Centre will also be travelling to local pharmacies to offer blood sugar testing and information.
They will be at Pharmasave on November 13th from 2-4, at Walmart on November 20th from 10-12, at Extra Foods on November 28th from 10-12 and at Shoppers Drug Mart on November 29th from 10-12.
The Diabetes Centre also offers screening clinics every Tuesday from 8:30 until 11:30am.
