Linda Jeannine Mary Kowalyk

In memoriam is a presentation of the Dryden Community Funeral Home.

In loving memory of Linda Jeannine Mary Kowalyk, age 58 of Vermilion Bay, who lost her battle with cancer on Friday May 6th 2011 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.

Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years Eugene of Vermilion Bay, daughters: Karrie Kowalyk of Victoria, BC, Kim Kowalyk of Vermilion Bay and son Keith (Jenn) of Victoria, BC grandchildren Maddox, Jaidyn, Ross, Jake, and Emily, brother Gerry (Nancy) Ross of Vermilion Bay, sister Pat (Kory)Kowalchuk of Saskatoon, SK, numerous aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Linda is predeceased by her father and mother: Rene and Irene Ross of Red Lake Road, ON

Linda was the homemaker, raising 3 children and 5 grandchildren. When the children were grown-up, she later worked part-time at area fishing lodges. She enjoyed her flowerbeds, planters and most types of craft making from string art, wood working to rock painting. Recent past time’s favorites were coffee, card games, and teatime with friends at the summer home on Perrault Lake.

As per Linda’s wishes there will be no Visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 13th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Al Campeau officiating.

Internment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, memoriam donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave. Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
