The Federal government has announced nearly $2.3-million in Gas Tax funding for communities in the Kenora district this year.
This is the first of two installments of annual funding for Ontario, which will allow local municipalities to invest in infrastructure projects.
Dryden is receiving $463,162, Sioux Lookout is accepting $306,282, while Red Lake is getting almost $283,966.
Ignace is welcoming $73,089, while Ear Falls will see $62,387.
