Local MPP Says Liberals Are Catering to Bay Street

The Provincial Budget is a pre-election budget for Southern Ontario and that’s why there’s no mention of Northern Ontario.
So says Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton who believes the budget does more harm than good.
Hampton says there’s no end in sight for soaring hydro rates, no help for struggling communities and no help for families.
The NDP member adds the budget includes the forging ahead of controversial forest tenure reform.
Hampton also says the budget includes cuts to essential Provincial Ministries, including the Ministry of Natural Resources.
