It’s that time again when parents across the region start saying good-bye, perhaps for the first time.
Lakehead University in Thunder Bay is welcoming its new students starting Wednesday.
Spokesperson Kristen Bohonis says they expect between 500 and 1,000 students to take part in a variety of activities for Orientation Week.
Bohonis says the goal is to make out-of-town students feel welcome at the school and in the community.
Out-of-town students can now start moving into their new homes on the campus residence.
